The grey bear with the blue nose. In 1987 when a house was demolished a small brown teddy was thrown out with the rubbish. There he stayed throughout a bitter winter, totally forgotten, with no friends to talk to and no-one to love hi. He was so frozen after months of being trapped under piles of rubbish that his fluffy fur turned grey and his tiny nose blue! luckily for the bear, he was found by a little girl who immediately felt sorry for him. Her grandmother stiched him back together. She called him "Tatty Teddy" and although he is now patched up and cared for, his fur will never turn back to brown. Thanks to the little girl, Tatty Teddy has become a symbol of love and friendship with his sorrowful looks and blue nose. "From Me to You".
